Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Lots of technical discussion about WHY shapes need to have certain characteristics. A great reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hopper's Functional Pottery
Robin Hopper strikes again! For every potter who wants to get better, there is something to do, something to follow, something new to try. I could go on making the same stuff, day-to-day, month-in, month-out, but I like to stretch my abilities, fail a few times, then learn how to do it the right way. Robin's book, "Functional Pottery" helps me to achieve my goals. I have about 300 books in my pottery library. If I were to be forced to reduce that number to ten, "Functional Pottery" would be one of the keepers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Informative and Teaching
The book provided information about functional pottery that I found to be helpful. Many ideas came from my reading and viewing illustrations and pictures.
