This book is my everything, it's filled with Inspiring creativity by Frida Kahlo and is just up there with the top books I've ever read, it is amazing. I'd 100% recommend this book, everyone should read it, especially artists.

I love this book. I enjoy seeing how a great artist records their thoughts and feelings in words and images, and what content they display.

I bought a copy of this book in July 2006, new, for GBP8.54. Now, the price without discount is GBP25. That's a threefold increase in less than 19 years. The same increases can be seen for books in general (I have many books that I purchased ten, fifteen, and twenty years ago, so I can see the trends.) Pretty soon, books will be only for the wealthy. Perhaps that's what is intended: keep the masses ignorant so they are easier to control.

I am quite in love with this book. I absolutely love Frida Kahlo and art journals, so this is right up my street. The translations and explanations are very good and the printing is very high quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Frida Kahlo and wants to find out more about her in her own words and private works. More than worth it for the price.

The cover of the book was slightly crumpled which was a shame but the shipping was fast.

From cover to cover, this book is a piece of art in itself. Every page is beautifully detailed, the paper is brilliant quality. The composition is absolutely exquisite. It contains extracts from her journals, poetry, sketches and is one of my favourite art books to date. I'm buying a second one to give to a friend for their birthday as they're a huge Frida fan.
    I'd definitely recommend this !

there was something wrong with this book- maybe the size, or this kind of book should be in paperback or different paper quality..... but its just my personal thoughts- what i would do different.
In general this book is beautifully printed, and Frida's paintings and words are amazing... so you cant judge anything inside.
The book gave a lot of information about Frida's life. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Frida's life/art.

Such a touching tribute to Frida Kahlo. To reproduce and translate the actual10-year diary of Frida Kahlo's last years is a masterwork of love. As well, to include a commentary to supplement the direct translation gives additional valuable incite into where Ms Kahlo was at psychologically, physically and emotionally, during this part of her illustrious vibrant life. Will cherish this beautiful book forever...
