I bought this on cassette when it first came out in the 90's and all the covers by different artists are good. but there is one that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, it is truly fantastic. that is sacrifice by sinead o conner. WOW. best version, including Elton's, that I have heard. If you don't want to buy the CD then at least listen to that track (the full length one, around 5 minutes)on you tube

I was so glad to find this on DVD; I probably watched my VHS at least 30 times once upon a time. If you are a fan of Elton you HAVE to own this. To see Elton and Bernie tell their own story is not to be missed. The "Your Song" edit is brilliant — I never get bored watching all the cuts to different years and costumes. Check out the look exchanged between Elton (in a Donald Duck costume) and Nigel Olsson. Great bonus too: a Tumbleweed-era British TV piece.

This documusical has lots of early years footage of Elton John and Bernie Taupin when they were starting out. An incredible array of the music they created together , along with interviews and performances by the many great artists
who did covers of their work. Their is a companian CD release that has all of the covered songs which is also really great but the clips of concert performances of 30~40 years ago is stellar.
